01 · The product I founded
Unseen Bangladesh
A free travel platform that began with one small wish: to mark the districts I had visited on a map.
I have been to around 45 of Bangladesh's 64 districts, and I wanted to see them coloured in. So I designed a map where anyone can pick the districts they have visited, then download and share the result. There is no sign-up and there are no ads.
I am a designer, not a professional developer. I designed the whole product myself and built it with AI, using Claude Code.
It launched in September 2026 with only the travel map. In early October it spread across Facebook, and people have now made over 1.4 million maps. BBC News Bangla, Prothom Alo, The Daily Star and Grameenphone told the story. Since then I have added the rest, one feature at a time.
I am the founder of the original Unseen Bangladesh. Its only official website is unseenbangladesh.com.

I live in Chattogram and studied economics at the University of Chittagong. Design became my work, and travelling around Bangladesh became the habit that led to Unseen Bangladesh.
